Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer hotel pick-ups?

We don’t provide standard resort pick-ups, as guests usually stay in different locations across the island, which would take too much of your time.

We recommend arriving by rental scooter, or we can arrange a taxi—often shared with others from your area. Each resort has a designated meeting point, which we’ll confirm when booking your transfer.

The costs range from 600 THB to 1000 THB per car for 1-5 people. Extra person is 100 THB. These are local drivers rates and we don’t have any profit on transfers.

Can we be picked up directly from our resort pier?

Some resorts (like Anantara, Santhiya, Six Senses, and Paradise) have private piers. Pick-up is possible for private tours if it’s on the route, or for an additional fee upon request.

However, since boat parking locations vary and some trips depart from Chong Lard Pier in the north, car transfers are often the more reliable option.

How can we avoid crowds?

The best way is to start early (around 6–7 AM) and reach popular spots before peak hours (9 AM – 2 PM). This may mean skipping hotel breakfast, but many resorts offer takeaway boxes. Early departures are available for private tours only.

Our small-group tours start later, but we plan flexible itineraries to avoid the busiest times whenever possible.

What should we bring?

We recommend packing light. Essentials include:

  • Beach towel
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat or cap
  • Sunglasses
  • Flip-flops
  • Cash for small expenses

Is there a toilet during the tour?

Our speedboats are equipped with a marine toilet. Public restrooms are also available on some islands, including Maya Beach, Poda Island, Hong Island, James Bond Island, and Koh Panyee.

What’s the difference between standard and luxury longtail boats?

Luxury longtail boats offer a more premium experience, including:

  • Softer, more comfortable seating with cushions
  • Decorative details (flowers, styling)
  • Picnic lunch on the beach
  • Usually an air-conditioned transfer
  • An additional English-speaking guide alongside the captain
